Ideas of March - ASID Interior Design Exhibit

    Friday, March 19, 2010 - 6:00 PM

Menaul Fine Art Gallery is hosting the “Ideas of March” ASID Interior Design four week exhibit opening March 17, 2010 and running through April 10, 2010.

The Menaul Fine Art Gallery, located in Clearwater, FL, will feature captivating abstract artwork along with photos of how local ASID (http://www.asidfloridawestcoast.com) interior designers create inviting and exciting spaces using that artwork. Each vignette in the exhibit will include a photo and bio of the Interior Designer and a write-up of what the designer was seeing when he created the space.

“The exhibit offers the public, especially those with an untrained eye, a unique artistic visual opportunity. Often people see a piece of artwork that inspires them, but wonder how they might incorporate it into a room design. The juxtaposition of a piece of artwork hanging on the wall, with next to it an image of the same piece incorporated into an environment, can be interesting and helpful to them. And displaying the interior designer information gives viewers additional useful information,” says Scott J. Menaul, abstract artist and gallery owner.

Suzan Decker Ross, Michelle Jennings Wiebe, Franco Pasquale, Barbara Krai, Katie Kato, Holly Kriviski, Karen Brown, Tom Jackson, John Beck, Alice Alexander, and Christine DeLashmutt are among the top Tampa Bay area interior designers being showcased in the exhibit.

Photographs for the exhibit will be taken by students of the International Academy of Design, Tampa, FL.

The Menaul Fine Art Gallery “Ideas of March” ASID Interior Design four week exhibit is free to the public and is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 6 pm, Thursday from 10 am to 8 pm, Saturday from 10 am to 2 and anytime by appointment by calling 727-726-7411 or toll free 877-257-9199 . The gallery is located at 1750 Hercules Ave, Clearwater, FL.
