Mark your calendar to celebrate Raymond James Gasparilla Festival of the Arts' 40th anniversary in downtown Tampa's Curtis Hixon Waterfront Park on Saturday, March 6th and Sunday, March 7th, 2010. This year, the free festival moves to the new footprint of the city park and the doorsteps of the new Tampa Museum of Art along the Hillsborough River. The festival will feature exceptional art from 300 established and emerging artists working in painting, watercolor, drawing/graphics, ceramic, fiber, jewelry, mixed media, photography, sculpture, glass and digital artwork. In addition to the art, you can enjoy live music and an assortment of food and beverage vendors. Kids can participate in supervised, hands-on art activities.
